Scottsdale, Arizona is located Northeast of the capital city, Phoenix, in Maricopa County. Scottsdale shares a border with Phoenix and Paradise Valley on the west side of the city. The 85258 community is located in the Mideast portion of the city. The 101 freeway is the main freeway through 85258 and the general Scottsdale Area.

The main public school provider in Scottsdale, AZ is the Scottsdale Unified School District (SUSD). The SUSD serves all public schools in the 85258 area and also some parts of Tempe, AZ and East Phoenix.
