Where is Murrieta?
Murrieta is in southwestern Riverside County, California just 100 miles outside of Los Angeles. Temecula borders our city to the south. The cities of Menifee and Wildomar are to the north. And, the unincorporated community of French Valley is to the east. Murrieta carries a city motto: “Gem of the Valley”. So, don’t be surprised if you locate diamond elements featured throughout the city. You may notice them on street signs and freeway interchanges.
Out and About
One of the best loved outdoor areas in Murrieta is Copper Canyon Park. It covers nine acres of land. Open grassy knolls cover the park. You can also enjoy their picnic tables for a bite to eat and take in the views. Younger visitors may use the playgrounds and bike and walking trails that run all over the park. Meanwhile, adults can enjoy some time away from children in one of the thirty wineries and tasting rooms that dot the countryside in the Murrieta, Temecula and Southwest Riverside area.
Honoring our Veterans
Our community knows Murrieta Town Square Park well. A Veterans Memorial there is dedicated to our men and women who served in our nation’s defense. The City holds several military-themed events throughout the year, such as: 9/11 Ceremony paying tribute to those that perished on September 11, 2001, Veterans Day Parade recognizing all branches of the military, and the Moving Memorial Day ceremony just to mention a few. Also, the Town Square is home to Murrieta’s Police Department, Public Library, City Hall, and a senior center.
Murrieta Storage Facility
The Storage West Murrieta facility is here to serve our community and surrounding areas with drive up units that can even store your compact vehicles. The facility has wide aisles for easy maneuvering. Our storage units are very convenient. They are all on ground level. Also, our units have metal walls with concrete flooring and are clean and well-maintained. We are proud of our community of quality renters.
