Do you ever feel like there is too much to do? And you have so little time do everything you need to? Do not worry, you are not alone. There are many things that are on our agendas. However, if you declutter your schedule you will be able to have more time to relax.
How to Declutter
There has to be some prioritization with what is on your agenda. There are seven days in the week, which can work in your favor. Are you able to push some of your errands to another day?
There are always going to be those important situations that occur and are mandatory on specific days and those must be taken care of. Is there a possibility that individuals in your life might be able to help eliminate some of those situations off of your schedule? All you have to do is muster up the courage to ask.
Then, there are those days when you have some free time, but get overcome with the feeling of not wanting to take care of anything. We all have so much to do with so little time. However, after looking at these situations that can occur, it all boils down to weeding out our small tasks, pushing them to another day, asking for help and finding some time to relax.
Maybe you learned this one in school: It starts with a bottle, a bunch of rocks, some marbles, and a ton of sand. There’s only one way to get everything into the bottle. If you start by putting in sand and marbles, you’ll never get the large rocks to go in. But, if you start with the largest rocks (or your most time consuming important tasks) first, and then follow with the marbles (smaller tasks that are still important) and finish with the sand (extra fun stuff you actually WANT to do) then you’ll be able to get it all in there.
Keep that all in mind and you’ll be on the road to success for decluttering your schedule.
