There are many reasons that lead people to storage facilities and the services they offer. Things like moving, storing vehicles, or emergency situations are just a few. Over the years we have helped people with all kinds of different storage needs. Sometimes the need for storage arises from heartbreaking situations. Domestic violence, a death in the family or tragedies like a house burning down make for just a few of those reasons. Sometimes storage is necessary in these great times of stress.
Luckily, there are lots of resources out there to help people weather these kinds of situations. We would like to highlight one program in particular
Trauma Intervention Program (TIP) of Orange County
TIP of Orange County provides an important and unique service to citizens. They are a group of specially trained volunteers called out by police, sheriff, firefighters, paramedics and hospital personnel. Their volunteers provide emotional aid and practical support to victims of traumatic events and their families in the first few hours following a tragedy, such as an accident, fire, or unexpected death. They’ve been around since 1985. TIP volunteers are available 24/7, 365 days a year.
We are thankful for organizations like TIP. Of course, you always hope for the best, but it’s good to know that when the unthinkable happens, there is going to be somebody there for you. When situations like this arise, we can provide a place for your stuff while you figure things out, and the volunteers at TIP can help you through the rest.
