The 92121 area of San Diego is south of Del Mar, CA and Encinitas, CA. To the East is El Cajon, CA and to the South is Chula Vista, CA.

Most people consider San Diego to be the birthplace of California. San Diego is currently the second largest city in the entire state.

Education

While there are many school districts in the San Diego area, the largest one is the San Diego Unified School District. The district has over 200 schools ranging from Elementary to High school. There are also charter schools, private schools, and alternative schools available.

San Diego also offers a variety of options when it comes to higher education. There are five public colleges including San Diego State University and the University of California, San Diego. There are even more private colleges to choose from in the area.

With so many schools in one city, it comes as no surprise that San Diego ranks high on the list as one of the most educated cities in the country.

Things to Do

There are so many things to do in San Diego that it would take months to get through them all.

Outdoor enthusiasts will fall in love with the city due to its diverse landscape. The ocean is also minutes away from the 92121 community.

The Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve is on the north end of the 92121 area. This area has over 1,500 acres of land preserved as it was since San Diego started to develop.

Some other places to check out in San Diego are Balboa Park, located in downtown, and the La Jolla Cove.
