Fullerton is a mid-sized city in Orange County. Balancing exciting city life with a relaxed residential feel, it’s a top destination in Southern California for work and play.
Founded in the early 1900s, Fullerton quickly rose to prominence as a productive agricultural center, particularly for Valencia oranges. The citrus industry was instrumental in the city’s early development and success. At one time, Fullerton had more orange groves than any other municipality in the United States.
The petroleum industry contributed to Fullerton’s growth, with the discovery of the Brea-Olinda Oil Field. Aerospace contractors and manufacturing make up the city’s modern economy. The popular grocery store Vons is also headquartered here.
Cal State Fullerton, one of the largest public universities in the region, is a short drive from our facility. The university offers 109 degrees. Fun fact: The university hosted 1962’s “First Intercollegiate Elephant Race in Human History.” The event was an enormous success, with 10,000 attendees and 15 elephants. The race inspired the school mascot, an elephant called Tuffy the Titan. Our facility is also close to other schools, including Whittier College and Fullerton College.
Fullerton also has a vibrant musical history. It’s the hometown of punk legends Social Distortion, the Adolescents and Agent Orange. Likewise, guitar company Fender got its start in Fullerton. You can find the Fender exhibit “Building Guitars, Making History” at the Fullerton Museum Center in downtown. The annual Day of Music Fullerton festival celebrates the community’s musical culture and roots with hundreds of musical performances at numerous venues across town.
This Southern California city offers a blend of residential, commercial, educational and cultural attractions. In Fullerton, virtually everything you need (plus affordable storage) is within reach.

Fullerton CA 92835

During our move to Northern California we needed to store furniture and many boxes to minimize the items in our home to accommodate staging the home for sale. In spite of this being a very difficult move, we had the most wonderful experience using Storage West in Fullerton. The manager, Elisa Jimenez, went very far out of her way to be helpful and make this difficult move a much better experience for us. She was friendly, helpful, available and understanding. She would bring water for us and our helpers when we were loading and unloading our units. She loaned us lights when we ended up working into the evening. I cannot say enough about Elisa-she was so nice to work with and she made sure we had a very positive experience. I hope her manager reads these reviews-she deserves to be acknowledged. You have a wonderful employee in Elisa!!!

We rented at this facility a long time ago and didn’t like the staff or the dirtiness. We came back and found new personnel and a much spiffed up place. Elisa Jimenez in particular was so nice and so accommodating. It’s rare to find someone like her. She clearly takes pride in her job and represents the company extremely well! Promote this go-getter!!! Thanks again for running a smooth operation ,Storage West
