Las Vegas offers you tons of options for what do to on Valentine’s Day. From the different restaurants and eateries, to the diverse shows and concerts, there are tons of sights to enjoy. You can book the entire day with fine dining, an awesome show, a concert, and a nightcap with little effort. Give your spouse a day like no other. Even those sappy romantic movies would be like “Oh man that is cheesy!” Just the two of you, spending the day together, enjoying everything Las Vegas has to offer.

Las Vegas is unlike any other city in the US; these suggestions are just a taste of what this city offers, not just on Valentine’s Day but ALL YEAR ROUND. Check out these 2 game plans our Manager Anthony has come up with.

You’re sure to impress with either one of these options.

If you’re looking for the most romantic and extravagant, adventurous and elegant day of all check out this plan:

Early Morning

The day starts early with a Hot Air Balloon Ride from Vegas Balloon Rides. Vegas Balloon Rides is a Best of Las Vegas Nominee. This attraction offers you an incredible experience to see Las Vegas from a completely different point of view. You’ll be high above the city in a hot air balloon. Flights take off early in the morning, just as sunrise hits our eastern mountains. This gives you a breathtaking view of our city, Red Rock Canyon and Mount Charleston. Nothing compares to watching the sunrise brighten Las Vegas floating in a hot air balloon. Be sure to check their website for the best rates available.

Breakfast

Once your feet are back on the ground comes our first eating experience. Las Vegas is synonymous with buffets. We aren’t going to go all out before lunch or dinner though. You don’t want to be too full to continue your day. We are heading over to the Red Rock Casino Feast Buffet for breakfast. This breakfast buffet has all the morning food favorites. This of course includes a fresh made omelet station with all the accompaniments you can think of. You can stuff yourself with bacon and eggs or go light with some fruit and an omelet. One of the best parts of the Red Rock Casino Feast Buffet is the pricing. This is higher class dining for a lower price than many of the buffets on the Strip.

After Breakfast

Next is a scenic drive to Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area for some hiking to work off breakfast and see some incredible sights. Red Rock Canyon offers a 13-mile scenic drive. There are several stopping points to get out and do some hiking. You can take in the towering red sandstone peaks and the Keystone Thrust Fault, as well as Native American petroglyphs. You will want to make sure you dress for the climate change from Las Vegas to Red Rock. Temperatures within the park can be lower than that of the city limits. Red Rock Canyon has some tremendous views for those that get to the top of the sandstone peaks. Also, the different colors and landscapes give you incredible backgrounds for pictures that you will cherish forever. Also, if you take a little longer hike, there are several waterfalls within the trailheads. The falls flow fresh water from Mount Charleston and the surrounding park area.

Before Lunch

A quick ride back to the Strip and we have the Venetian Gondola Ride, located at the extravagant Venetian Resort. The gondola ride is a graceful and romantic glide down the Grand Canal in an authentic Venetian style gondola. You’ll be floating beneath bridges, beside cafes, under balconies, and through the vibrant Venetian streetscape. Meanwhile your singing gondolier serenades the ride from start to finish. The gondolier sings as he guides you through the canal tour that also includes a photo package of the occasion.

Lunch

Lunchtime in Las Vegas is sometimes a struggle because this city gives you tons of options. Because you have some other things you want to do today without being sluggish and worn down due to eating too heavy, lunch at Shake Shack at New York-New York Hotel is a good option. Ready for great tasting burgers and crinkle-cut fries? How about hot dogs and chicken sandwiches? As long as you don’t forget the incredible shakes and floats and frozen custards. This place has awesome food and is not too heavy. You don’t want to spoil the remainder of the day on account of a too full belly. One of the best things about Shake Shack is the outdoor eating area in front of the restaurant; an excellent sitting area that offers some of the best “people watching” in the city. Millions of tourists hit this city every year which makes “people watching” a favorite pastime for many; The seating area at Shake Shack gives you a comfortable and relaxed area to check out some of these tourists.

After Lunch

Now it is time to shop. Connected to New York-New York Hotel is the Hershey’s Chocolate World. This two-story destination features a Hershey chocolate lover’s dream. Here you can enjoy unique HERSHEY’S candy experiences along with fresh made HERSHEY’S sweets. There’s also a wide selection of gifts from world famous Hershey brands like Reese’s, Jolly Ranchers, Kit-Kat, Twizzlers, and Whoppers. Plus, while you are here, you have to get a picture of the 800lb sculpture of the Statue of Liberty.

Snack Time!

A short walk north on the Las Vegas Strip is the M&M’s World Store, a 28,000 square foot, four-level monument to the colorful fun world of M&M’S, which was the first M&M’S World store location ever. You can get your love some of their very own one-of-a-kind M&M’S with the Personal M&M Printer, combining customized messages, a variety of images, and 16 different colors of M&M’S Brand Milk Chocolate Candies. There is every type of M&M merchandise to choose from like clothing, purses, jewelry, and even items for the house. Wouldn’t it be great to have an M&M’s branded bathroom?

More Snacks!

Right next door to M&M World is the Coca-Cola Store Las Vegas. This place is a mecca for any Coca-Cola fans out there.  Guests have a chance to shop an array of exclusive merchandise including vintage Coca Cola items, apparel, accessories and more. From Polar Bear plush toys to mugs and glasses, the store features one-of-a-kind items that can only be found here. Plus, get her a picture with the famous Coca-Cola Polar Bear. Coca-Cola World also offers a refreshing Coca Cola beverage bar. Grab a Coke or a Coke Float! Or, you can sample 16 different international beverages with the Tastes of the World tray.

Sunset

The sun is starting to set and yet there are still a few things left to do. A little further north on the Las Vegas Strip from your shopping is the Paris Las Vegas Eiffel Tower. Rise above the frenzy of the Las Vegas Strip and watch the sun set on the Las Vegas valley atop the famous landmark Eiffel Tower. An icon of the Las Vegas skyline, the high-altitude attraction is located 46 stories up and is a half scale replica of the world-famous Paris, France landmark. The observation deck features 360 degree city views and is especially romantic at night. The views of the bright, colorful lights and the lit water show of the Fountains of Bellagio are unmatched. Before you are done, stop by the Total Snapshot kiosk to purchase a commemorative photo of your “France in Vegas” experience in the sky. It’s a perfect keepsake for an unforgettable moment.

Before Dinner

Right across Las Vegas Boulevard from the skyline view of the Paris Las Vegas Eiffel Tower is the world famous Fountains of Bellagio. The fountains were designed to romance your senses. There is nothing like seeing them in person. Take in a spectacular show of thoughtfully interwoven water, music and light designed to mesmerize you with the most ambitious, choreographically complex water features ever Step back, or find a comfortable perch to sit, and watch the dynamic performance set against the backdrop of the Las Vegas lavender sky. Each performance is unique in expression and interpretation so no matter how many times you see the Fountains, they always have more in store to wow you.

Dinner

For dinner, the Veranda at the Four Seasons, which is a trattoria-style Italian restaurant, specializing in handmade pasta, wood-fired pizza and refined Italian desserts, is an excellent place to end the day sitting inside or out on the terrace. The menu is wide ranged and has essential Italian dishes you know and a few that may surprise you. Lasagna di Manzo is worth a try, especially finished off with the Trio of Creme Brulees.

After Dinner

Once dinner is over, one final stop at the infamous Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas Sign, located just south of the Four Seasons. This iconic landmark is one of, if not the, most visible and noticeable icons that represents Las Vegas. The night lights of the city are the backdrop to this incredible sight and are the best way to finish your Valentine’s night in style.

Ok, that was one great day. Here’s another idea:

If you’re looking for an activity driven and awesome day with a ton to brag about, this is the plan for you. This is a lot less romantic but shows you love your partner if you are able to pull off this epic Las Vegas Valentine’s Day adventure.

Breakfast

For breakfast, our day starts in Downtown Las Vegas at Hash House A Go Go located inside the Plaza Hotel & Casino. Hash House is the home for Twisted Farm Food. A local favorite is Andy’s Famous Sage Fried Chicken and Waffles, with fried chicken pieces atop waffles with syrup and bacon pieces. Another incredible dish is the Big Ol’ Pancake, which is a pancake the size of the plate it is served on.

After Breakfast

Breakfast is done and you are in Downtown Las Vegas, up next is the SlotZilla Zip Line. Fly though the air Superman-style, 12 stories up for over 5 city blocks at speeds of almost 40 miles per hour. You’ll be flying across Downtown Las Vegas from one side of the Fremont Street Experience to the other. Do you have a cape, because you’ll need a cape!

Continuing the walk through Downtown Las Vegas and enjoying everything the Fremont Street Experience has to offer, walk from one world famous hotel and casino to the other, with the Golden Nugget, Binion’s, Fremont Hotel, and the 4 Queens all facing each other at the intersection of Freemont and Casino Center Drive. Do you want to learn how to play the tables? Each of these casinos offers how-to courses in the morning times to get those that don’t know the ins and outs of the games acclimated to the rules and nuances for each one. Learn how to play craps, blackjack, and roulette to become a master of the Las Vegas table games.

A few blocks away from Downtown Las Vegas and the Fremont Street Experience is an incredible tour of Las Vegas past with the Neon Sign Museum. This ‘bone-yard” of old Las Vegas casino and business neon signs are proudly and brightly displayed on almost 3 acres, giving these iconic pieces of history a chance to continue to shine. See Las Vegas signs from the iconic hotels like The Sands, The Sahara, The Stardust, and the horse and rider from The Hacienda. This is one of those places in Las Vegas that give you a taste of the history this city has from a time not too long ago. It will also give you and your date a chance to get some incredible pictures.

Lunch

Heading towards the Las Vegas Strip and you have to stop at the Gold & Silver Pawn Shop, made famous from the hit TV show Pawn Stars. You will be in awe with the items this place has on display like the “As Seen on TV” section, their collectibles, fine art, and coins and jewelry that is all for sale. Plus you can’t stop there without getting a Pawn Stars t-shirt. Also, right next door is where lunch is being served at Rick’s Rollin Smoke BBQ & Tavern, which is owned by Rick Harrison from Pawn Stars. This place has some awesome down home country sides, and fall off the bone hickory smoked barbeque. A favorite of many is the Pit Special which is St. Louis Ribs, pork, brisket, chicken, hot link, and three sides. Whatever you get here is good eats and you might have a sighting of the guys from Pawn Stars.

After Lunch

Once lunch is done, it’s back to the action. The next stop is the SkyJump and Insanity Rides at The Stratosphere Hotel and Casino. The Insanity Ride is a massive mechanical arm extending out 64 feet over the edge of the Stratosphere Tower at a height of over 900 feet. This ride will spin passengers in the open air at speeds of up to three ‘G’s as you’re propelled up to an angle of 70 degrees, which will tilt your body straight down! If you’re brave enough to keep your eyes open, you’ll be rewarded with a breathtaking view of historic downtown Las Vegas. The SkyJump is an open-air leap from the top of The Stratosphere Hotel, a whopping 829 feet above the neon Las Vegas Strip. You can zoom towards the landing pad at speeds topping 40 mph while the crowds below gasp and applaud. Don’t forget, there are photo and video packages available too!

Coming down into the Las Vegas Strip is the next adventurous jaunt, at the High Roller Observation Wheel at The Linq. You and your date will soar an outstanding 550 feet above the center of the Las Vegas Strip on the High Roller, the world’s tallest observation wheel. With sweeping 360-degree views of the Las Vegas Valley and The Strip, the wheel takes over 30 minutes to complete one revolution. You can upgrade the experience with an open bar cabin; which includes one 30 minute rotation with an in cabin open bar and bartender to serve up the fun.

Now it’s time to show off a bit by hitting up TopGolf Las Vegas at MGM Grand for some driving range fun. Top Golf isn’t just a golf driving range; it offers over 100 climate-controlled hitting bays on four floors, 5 unique bars, VIP cabanas, and two pools. There are interactive golf games that are unlike anything you’ve ever experienced on the golf course as each player hits golf balls containing computer microchips that track each shot’s accuracy and distance while also awarding points for hitting targets on the outfield. TopGolf is easily one of the best places to go in Las Vegas.

Before Dinner

Continuing south on the Las Vegas Strip headed out towards the desert is a gem of Las Vegas that will make this entire Valentine’s Day the greatest day ever. Speed Vegas brings exotic car racing fantasies to life on the longest and fastest racetrack in Las Vegas. They offer the finest and most exclusive exotic and muscle cars on the planet: Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, Mustang Shelby, Audi, Nissan and more. Get maximum time behind the wheel with over 12 turns, 20 degree banked turns, and a monster half-mile straight. You don’t need any racing experience to have a safe and thrilling experience located just 10 minutes from the center of fabulous Las Vegas. The thrill of driving a Lamborghini on a racetrack is something you will never forget.

Dinner

For dinner, go for the steak. Not one of those $5.99 steak dinners from Downtown either. Stop off at Texas de Brazil, a Brazilian style eatery featuring a wide array of chef-crafted salads, roasted vegetables, imported cheeses and charcuterie, and expert carvers generously serving all-you-can-eat sizzling beef, lamb, pork, chicken and Brazilian sausage. This place is better than a buffet as the servers come to your table with different meat selections; bacon wrapped everything, and incredible sides and salads. There are cards on the table that are two sided with green and red when you’re ready for more meats or can’t eat another bite.

Hopefully these suggestions will help you in the planning of the best day ever for your Valentine’s Day in Las Vegas.
