Our Community of Renters
“At Storage West Chandler our typical customers are local homeowners and businesses as well as winter visitors who come to enjoy the fabulous winter weather. Our facility is clean and well lit. Our rental office is located at our sister store just 700 feet south of us on Arizona Avenue. We have wide aisles that can accommodate a 26’ truck along with manual gate access for semi trucks. Visit our social media sites at Facebook and Twitter for more information on our facility.
People like our friendly service and our online payment option. They like the security cameras and the fact that it is a clean and well maintained property. I had a tenant who moved from Saudi Arabia and I was able to make her move easy. I was able to put her in contact with some college students to help her unload her storage container. She was very happy!”
A Customer’s Story
“Our shipping company was having trouble delivering our friend’s container arriving from overseas. Then without warning the shipping company did come through, and his belonging were shipped without any notice to me to get things put together at this end to unload the belongings. I received a call from my friend at 4:30pm on Tuesday that the shipment would be at the storage facility at 9:00am the next morning.
In addition, I would need 4 guys to unload the container that was coming on a flatbed truck without a ramp and I would also need a lock cutter to cut the lock when it arrived. I had never heard of that but that is how they prove to us that the shipment was not tampered with. No key…. You need to cut it off! In addition, I would only have 2 hours to empty the container and if we were to go over the 2 hours it was going to cost an extra $75.00 per hour.
In a panic, I called the manager to see if he had contacts for workers who could come in at the last minute, along with tools etc., to help me end this nightmare. Without hesitation he said he would make some calls for me. Within minutes the manager had me in contact with 4 workers who would arrive at 9:00am the next day. He said he would also have the tools for the lock and dollies for the workers. In addition, he let the shipper know that if the shipment got there early then the answering service could call him to open the gate for the truck. I have rented from several storage facilities in my life and I never had a manager go so far above and beyond!
Getting Things Done
Not only did he do all this, he was hands-on. He guided the trucker into the facility, personally cut off the lock for us, and helped set the workers in motion. Doing all this a smile along with sweat on his brow from running with urgency knowing I had a timeline.
The manager would not accept a dime from me for using his tools or for all that he did for me. It was again, so far above the line that I needed to write this letter to let you know that you have employed the “best of the best.” You should be very proud of an employee with these types of customer service skills and use this experience as a standard for all your managers. I will always remember this experience and will always recommend a Storage West facility because of the manager.”
