Storage West is a self-storage company spread out in the Southwest. Our company has locations in Arizona, California, Nevada and Texas. Right now there are 49 locations in all, but we are expanding.
Storage West isn’t just about self-storage though. We put a major emphasis on community involvement as well. It is very important to us that all of our locations and the Resident and Associate managers that run them maintain an ongoing commitment to being involved within their communities. We make it part of our manager’s overall job to keep abreast of what is going on around their properties and in their neighborhoods. As they find out about local events and fun things going on we make sure to share that information with our neighbors and community. We also participate in as much as we can, too. This is just part of how we stay connected to the people in our communities.
One of the ways to find out about the events and interesting things going on is to follow us on social media. Each of our locations has their own set of profiles so they can stay in touch with their specific local communities. Through their Facebook, Twitter, and Google + they can share with you, and you can share back.
You can see an example of this on our Murrieta Facebook Page. There you will find all of the different things they have shared about recently and how we are connecting with our community there like with this post. Recently our San Diego District got together for a meeting. We do this on a quarterly basis. We like to maintain a community within our properties as well. At that meeting our managers and staff got together to support a great cause. Red Nose Day is a yearly event that is dedicated to raising money for children and other young people that are living in poverty. This fun event is centered on the purchase of red noses simply to have fun and make people laugh while supporting a worthy tradition. Our San Diego employees got their red noses early and took an excellent group photo to make sure everyone was aware of the upcoming date so that more people can get involved.
If you want to know more about this kind of thing we would love for you to follow the page local to you. We love getting input from our neighbors and hope to hear from you soon!
