The whole of Storage West is a large self-storage company spread throughout Arizona, California, Nevada and Texas. We currently have 49 locations open for business, and counting. We have 11 locations just in the San Diego area alone.
Storage is our business but community is our calling. It is extremely important to us that each of our locations and the managers that run them maintain a sincere dedication to community involvement. Our managers consider it part of their job to keep up to date with what’s going on in the area around their facility. They spend a good deal of their time participating in local events and making sure to stay knowledgeable about their town. We want to be a good neighbor in this way. We think this is a great way to stay connected to the people in our communities.
Of course, another great way for us to stay connected is through social media. Each of our locations maintains a local profile on Facebook, Twitter, and Google +. Check out San Marcos’ profiles as an example. Through their Facebook, Twitter, and Google + they can share all about what’s going on around them, what events they’ll be attending, and just in general what’s going on.
For example, the most recent post for San Marcos will show you just a little tid bit that the manager wanted to share with everyone. Our Resident Manager Misagh is pictured there with his new electric scooter. He and the manager from Escondido have elected to use this more environmentally friendly transportation style for local trips. How great, huh? We’re very proud of our managers and love to keep our communities informed about what they are up to.
Our community wouldn’t be effective with just the input of our managers though. We rely on the people around us to help us stay on top of everything too. If you ever know of anything going on that you think your neighbors would like to hear about, let us know. We’d love to share and maybe even attend!
